Connect CRMCoPilot to Zapier
Send leads from your CRMCoPilot search results into a Zap, then on to the apps you already use. The connection is a CRMCoPilot webhook received by Zapier's built-in Webhooks by Zapier trigger.
Webhooks are included on the Platinum plan and Managed service.
Setup
Set up in a few minutes
- Create a Zap in ZapierChoose Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger app and Catch Hook as the event. Copy the webhook URL Zapier gives you.
- Add the webhook in CRMCoPilotOpen Settings → Webhooks, click Add New Webhooks, enter a name and paste the Zapier URL.
- Send a test leadRun a search, select one lead and click the webhook button next to the download icon.
- Test the trigger in ZapierClick Test trigger. The lead you sent appears with its fields.
- Add your actions and turn the Zap onMap the lead's fields into the apps you want, then publish the Zap. From then on, every lead you send with the webhook button runs through it.
What arrives at your URL
The details of each lead you send, such as name, job title, company and email. Send one test lead first and map the fields exactly as they arrive.
- DuplicatesThe email and company-domain duplicate check belongs to the native CRM exports. With a webhook, use a find-or-create step in the receiving tool.
- Keep the URL privateAnyone who has a webhook URL can post to it. Store it like a password and replace it if it leaks.
Ideas
What teams build with it
You build these workflows yourself in the receiving tool. CRMCoPilot sends the leads.
A CRM we don't connect to natively
Create contacts in a CRM such as Keap, Copper or Close with that app's Zapier action.
Team alerts
Post each lead to a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel so the right rep sees it.
Tasks for reps
Create a follow-up task in your project or task tool for each lead.
Your own routing
Use Zapier's filters and paths to send leads to different places by location, title or company.
Native or webhook?
Using one of our five CRMs? Connect it directly.
GoHighLevel, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, HubSpot and Salesforce connect natively from Settings → Integrations, with no Zapier step. Native exports also check for duplicates, assign an owner and work with Autopilot schedules.
What this doesn't do today
- A CRMCoPilot app in Zapier's app directory. You connect with Webhooks by Zapier instead.
- Zapier triggers or actions that search or pull data from CRMCoPilot. Leads go one way, from CRMCoPilot to your Zap.
- Webhooks on the Free, Silver or Gold plans.
Zapier questions
Is there a CRMCoPilot app in Zapier?
No. You connect with Webhooks by Zapier, a trigger built into Zapier. CRMCoPilot sends leads to the URL it gives you.
Which plans do I need?
Webhooks are on CRMCoPilot's Platinum plan and Managed service. On Zapier's side, Webhooks by Zapier is a premium app, so check Zapier's pricing for the plan it needs.
Do I need Zapier for HubSpot, Salesforce or the other native CRMs?
No. GoHighLevel, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, HubSpot and Salesforce connect natively from Settings → Integrations.
Which fields does the lead include?
The lead's details, such as name, job title, company and email. Send one test lead and use Zapier's Test trigger to see every field before you map it.
Can I use Make instead of Zapier?
Yes. Make's custom webhook works the same way. See webhooks and the step-by-step Zapier and Make example.
